Zeñel @SOUTHBANK / Friday Tonic

Zoe Pascal, Noah Stoneman and Laurence Wilkins together formed Zeñel in 2016 after meeting through the young jazz scene in London. The band delivers complexity and excitement true to their jazz improvisation background, cut up with experimental and unexpected electronic sounds. Although their young age emphasises just how much accolade is due to the trio, their extraordinary talent is impressive beyond their years. In their relatively short existence, they have wowed audiences at Ronnie Scotts, Jazzrefreshed, Love Supreme Festival, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Brainchild Fest, London Jazz Festival, MFY PROMS at the Royal Albert Hall, La Petite hall in Paris/FR and Outjazz Fest in Lisbon/PT, just to name a few appearances. They´ve been in Jazzwise Magazine 'Artists to watch' list since 2017 and it seems like 2019 will be the year to release their first EP.
