In its 4th edition, #JazznewbloodALIVE2019 celebrates original jazz-inspired music led by #youthjazztalent under the age of 24, this year with an amazing +50% female line-up (#femalejazzpower).
The only way an increase in female participation in Jazz is going to happen is by increasing their representation.
Gender in Jazz has been off balance for many years, is time to make a change.
Women don´t want to be patronised or accepted because of their gender but given the same opportunities to show their voices and values.
*Gender & diversity balance are priorities to Jazznewblood.
